Welcome to the Setu Asian Social Impact Fellows program, where passionate young leaders across Asia come together to create, implement, and scale up community-level social impact projects. Our fellows are dedicated to driving positive change in their communities and beyond, utilizing innovative strategies and online organizing to amplify their impact globally. Setu is the Bengali word for "bridge" and our Fellows co-create across regions to induce emergent system innovations.
The Setu Asian Social Impact Fellows program aims to:
Empower Youth: Provide young leaders with the skills, resources, and networks necessary to develop and implement effective social impact projects.
Foster Collaboration: Encourage cross-cultural and cross-border collaboration to address common social challenges in Asia.
Amplify Impact: Utilize online platforms and digital tools to extend the reach of local initiatives and inspire similar efforts in other countries.
Community-Level Social Impact Projects
Our fellows are selected based on their commitment to addressing pressing social issues in their communities. Each fellow develops a project tailored to local needs, which can range from education and healthcare initiatives to environmental conservation and economic development.
Online Organizing and Global Outreach
To maximize the impact of their projects, fellows receive training in online organizing and digital advocacy. By leveraging social media, virtual events, and online campaigns, they share their successes and challenges, inspiring other young leaders to take action in their own communities.
